About Us
J-KO was founded in 2001 by 16 year car wash veteran Jon Kolquist. Jon had become frustrated with the inadequate cleaning ability of currently available cleaners and they took too much employee time. Jon also found the need for more dependable equipment because of the harsh northland winters. After years of attending trade shows around the country and trying several different brands of mat machines he designed his own. The result? Significant labor savings, more cars washed in a shorter time and happier customers. Jon started J-KO when others wanted his new floor mat cleaner. Today, the J-KO Company has a full line of mat cleaning equipment, and more ideas in the works. All machines are built & assembled in Florida, USA.
